In 2010, EWM founded Schweißtechnik Handels GmbH in Neu-Ulm, Germany. They supply technical and industrial users from the southern German sales region with the EWM range. The services provided by this branch include repair, maintenance and overhaul tasks for manual machines, automated systems, robot welding systems and welding torches of any brand. These services can be performed either at the branch or at the customers' facilities.

In 2016, the location Neu-Ulm was licensed as a DVS (German welding association) training centre. This educational institution is the point of contact for regional customers, e.g. for completing welding courses and welding examinations.
