Disclaimer

1. Content of online information
All information contained in this document has been carefully checked and is believed to be accurate, however, we retain the right to make changes on the grounds of clerical or typographical errors or mistakes.
The author reserves the right not to be responsible for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. The author cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of a material or non-material nature resulting from the use or non-use of the information provided or from the use of incorrect or incomplete information, except in the case of demonstrable intent/gross negligence on the part of the author. All content is without obligation and non-binding. The author explicitly reserves the right to modify, supplement or delete some of the pages or the entire content without providing separate notification, or stop publication thereof temporarily or indefinitely.

2. References and links
In the event of direct or indirect links to external web sites ("hyperlinks") that are outside the scope of responsibility of the author, responsibility for illegal content cannot be accepted unless the author had knowledge of the content and it was technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent visitors to the site from viewing those pages.
The author hereby explicitly declares that he was not aware of any illegal content on the linked sites when the links were installed. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current or future design, the content or the authorship of the web sites to which links are provided. For this reason the author explicitly distances himself from the content of all linked sites that have been modified after the links were installed. The same also applies to all links and references within the author's own Internet content, and external entries in visitor books, discussion forums, link lists, mailing lists or any other type of database provided by the author to which external write access is possible. The provider of the site to which reference is made is solely responsible for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content, particularly for damage caused by the use or non-use of such information, not the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links.

3. Copyright and trade mark law
The author has endeavoured not to use copyrighted images, diagrams, sounds, video sequences and texts and use his own material or freeware.
All brand names and trademarks that are mentioned in the web site content and may be protected by third parties are unrestrictedly subject to the conditions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the owner(s) thereof. It cannot be assumed that trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties just because this is stated!
The copyright for published objects that the author has created himself belongs exclusively to the author of the web site. The duplication or use of such diagrams, sounds, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the explicit approval of the author.

4. Data protection
We are delighted that you are interested in our website. We care a lot about protecting your privacy. We would now like to inform you in detail about how we handle your data.

Acquisition, processing, use, disclosure and deletion of personal data
When you visit websites, only anonymised access data, excluding any personal information such as the names of the sites visited, the browser used or your Internet service provider, are recorded. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily make it available, e.g. by placing an order, opening a customer account or registering with us. Any such data collected is only used for fulfilment of the order or contract and for internal statistical analyses. Should you not have expressly agreed to your data being used beyond fulfilment of the contract, the data will be embargoed when the contract has been executed in full and deleted after the period of up to ten years stipulated by law. No further use will be made of the data, e.g. for advertising purposes. If applicable, the requisite data will be disclosed to third parties such as sales partners or shipping companies for the purpose of delivery, insofar as may be necessary for fulfilment of the order, for billing purposes or for collection of payment.

Data collected during on-line guarantee registration, which requires contact details and product information about the unit for which the guarantee period is to be extended, is required for processing a claim under guarantee and classification of the unit. A reminder may be issued for the statutory annual inspection of the units and any recall campaigns required. Data collected during on-line registration for the guarantee will be deleted at the end of the extended guarantee period.

Should you register to receive the newsletter after registration, stating your e-mail address and your express consent to its distribution, the e-mail address stated will be used to inform you of changes, additions and new features of EWM products until you cancel at any time. Should you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, your e-mail address will be deleted from the distribution list. The e-mail address required for receipt of the newsletter will not be disclosed to third parties.
Other than in the aforesaid cases, no disclosure of personal data to third parties will take place unless we have a legal obligation or have received your consent to do so.
